My husband and I passed this place after eating at a different restaurant in the Harbor Shops. The next day, our flight was delayed so instead of eating at the airport we decided to stop at Giuliano's. I called ahead to make sure that it was okay for us to bring all of our luggage and was told that it was no problem at all. I agree with some of the other Yelpers that this place is tucked into the strip mall and its signage doesn't make it easy to find (our Uber driver wasn't even exactly sure). When you walk in you're greeted by staff and the garlicky aroma that immediately makes your mouth water. The restaurant is cozy and also offers outdoor seating, we chose to eat inside. It's a small place, and each table is equipped with a button that signals the server should they not be around your table at that time...we never needed to use it because staff was always available during our time there (during lunch rush). We were offered a corner table which provided space for our luggage, our drink orders were promptly taken, and an order of 6 garlic rolls were brought to our table all within the first couple minutes of our arrival. The lunch menu included pasta, sandwiches/paninis, salad, pizza, and entrees. The prices are very reasonable, especially when you compare them with the tourist traps you may encounter along the beach and Las Olas. My husband ordered the baked ziti and I had the Chicken Napoli (think deconstructed chicken parm without the breading). The table beside us ordered a pizza which looked and smelled delicious, and it was too much for the three if them to finish. Our meals came with a salad (iceberg lettuce, red onions, and diced peppers) with great Italian dressing. My husband's ziti was brought to us bubbling hot. It was simple and delicious, with plenty of cheese (you know, that broiled top cheese with yummy, gooey cheese underneath!). My meal had two perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken breasts, thin pasta noodles, and tasty tomato sauce. The portions were quite sizable for lunch. For dessert, we had three small cannoli with sweet cream, powdered sugar, and drizzled chocolate sauce. This was a perfect ending to a great meal. I never thought I'd be pleased about a flight delay, but we wouldn't have had the chance to eat here on this visit otherwise. For any subsequent trips we make to Ft Lauderdale, this place will surely be on our to do list. We found out that they even deliver to many of the beach hotels. This meal was the last stop on our trip which ended our vacation on a high note. Thank you for the great customer service and wonderful food...We'll be seeing you!

After learning that this little piece of Italy existed here in Ft. Lauderdale, I can't stop going there or sending one of my guys to get me some food for my Italian cravings... Small place, it gets lost in that shopping center but once you find it, you'll be back, great food, great staff. The Chicken Portobello Panini is one of my favorites, but all I've had, has always been delicious. I went once with a good friend and her dog, we sat outside and the waiter even brought some water for the dog, nice! I like that every time I call for a pick up order and tell them is for the front desk of the hotel, they send a Canolli or something to thank us for having their menus at our resort... That's unnecessary but such a nice gesture of thankfulness, and they taste so good! Keep up the good work & thank you for my cannolis!

On my way out of Total Wine, we wanted to grab an early dinner. We been hearing about this place on Yelp! and decided to give place a try. I've seen many good reviews from fellow Yelpers and thought it should be pretty decent. Giuliano's felt like a petite mom and pop Italian restaurant. I've tried many chain Italian restaurants before and all of them turned out to be a big disappointment, and I was hoping this place isn't the case. Even though I got the address from Yelp!, this place was still kind of hard to find. But we somehow managed to find our way through the front entrance. As we walked in, its what you expected from a local mom and pop restaurant. Its a small place but I like the feels to it. The menu is pretty much what you can find in most Italian restaurants. Nothing out of ordinary. But it's a good thing because you know you can get exactly what you are expected to get. I figure its a no brainier for me to go with the Veal Parmigiana. My wife followed me and got hers in chicken. Both entrees came with either soup or salad. I picked the minestrone soup and it was very good. Its warm, hearty with a very good kick. My wife chose the salad and she felt the salad was a bit under dressed. Besides the soup and salad, the garlic rolls also came with the entrees. We got a plateful (about six), and it was pretty good. They came out nice and warm, with lots of garlic on top which we love. I tasted my veal parmigiana and I thought it was pretty good. It tasted fresh with lots of good flavors. If I have to nit picking on the dish, I'd say the veal tasted maybe just a bit tough for my taste. On the other hand, my wife's chicken parmigiana was terrific. The chicken was cooked perfectly: nice, warm and juicy. The sauce was same as mine so you know it was good. On top of all that, a small bowl of spaghetti also came with each meal, which makes it a lot of food for one entree. In the end, we were very happy with our meal. Our waiter was extremely nice, polite and helpful. All the food tasted pretty authentic, I'd say 100% better than places like Macronni Grill or Carrabba's. (Forget about Olive Gardens, I don't think you can call it an Italian restaurant). The reason for 3 instead of 4 stars is because of the price. The bill for both me and my wife's meals plus tips sums up to almost $50.00, which is kind of steep for what we had for dinner. I know because of the size of the restaurant, and with the number of guests they serve on average day, it'd be hard to keep the prices low. Perhaps they can offer their entrees a la carte and make the sides like soup, salad and garlic rolls optional for purchase. I'd be gladly to pay $13.95 for my veal parmigiana instead of $17.95.

Good food and very nice service, we went to lunch (10 people) and we were very welcome. A lot of food! I had thin crust pizza and a huge side salad, my dad really liked the lasagna. It is not fancy, but very good overall.

This place is simple and worthwhile. Great food and staff. A nugget that our hotel staff recommended. The Stromboli is the best I've had in a long while.

On my way to Publix's flagship store in the Cordova strip mall I've always sort of wandered by Giuliano's Italian Restaurant since it's a rather small somewhat obscure hole in the operation. But when doing my Yelp check-in for Publix I noted Yelper Dee B.'s five star review and knew I had to try it out. I won't go five stars, at least not yet, on Giuliano's but I will go four stars since by comparison the food is significantly better than any other such pizza/pasta operation including chains like Big (probably as in fat) Lou's along with what I found to be exemplary service at Giuliano's. Giuliano's has two menus, one for lunch and one for dinner with both being rather well thought out. The lunch menu contains a number of good choices, about 10 specials, varying parmigiana platters, pizza by the slice, calzones, strombolis, subs, two soups, about 9 salad choices plus a good number of very reasonably priced specialty sandwiches including a veal cutlet and a saltimbocca all priced at $8.95. I ordered a small Caesar with anchovy and linguini with red clam sauce. The Caesar came nicely done, crispy fresh romaine, a really decent Caesar dressing having complete coverage. The red clam sauce on the linguini had a nice fresh clean taste to it and I particularly noted that the garlic ingredient was couldn't have been more perfectly done, just slightly browned so as to avoid the harshness of underdone or the bitterness of overdone. Then, the linguini itself, a perfect al dente in texture. I also had a glass of wine and in reviewing their wine list, found it to be of varieties exceptionally well chosen, particularly for such a small strip mall restaurant. Giuliano's is a place I look forward to returning for dinner as the dinner menu is more extended having some really intriguing selections such as a broccoli rabe and sausage, veals done in Parmigiana, Francese, Marsala, Rossini or Piccata styles plus a host seafood and other noted Italian specialties.

Took a queue from a reputable Yelper who always seems to be accurate with his reviews. I've been to this plaza a dozen times but never noticed this small Italian restaurant hidden in a corner. Got there a little after lunch and the place wasn't crowded at all, we were greeted promptly with menus in hand. Krystal our server was great! She was very friendly and professional making our first time here a pleasant one. We arrived very hungry so she noticed our sense of urgency and immediately brought out some of the most delicious garlic bread we've ever had! Either that or we were just very hungry! We skipped the lunch menu and headed for the dinner menu because the options are much much better and come with protein unlike most of the options on the lunch menu. All dinners come with soup or salad, we picked a delicious Pasta Fagioli, Delicious! I ordered the Chicken Picatta and she had Baked Snapper w/ side of spaghetti both equally delicious and very generous in portion size. You could easily share a dinner. The prices were reasonable we will definitely return.

This is a place with great service and really authentic Italian food. We were able to order unique items and the traditional Italian favorites. Our waiter offered suggestions and made us feel at home! Try the homemade ravioli or chicken with artichoke hearts and mushrooms. The garlic rolls at the beginning of the meal were amazing, and our caprese salad appetizer was fresh and gone on seconds!

Our new local goto Italian restaurant thanks to a yelp search.. It was a couple of stores down from GameStop, we apparently have been totally overlooking this restaurant...... "If it were a snake". Lol. The place is small...we like small places that have a kids menu; our 5th grade picky eater finished off the spaghetti and meatball and said he was stuffed. Wow. It was casual, but had a classy feel, but not pretentious. Our waiter was very pleasant from the start. The meal started with these toasted garlic rolls that were not saturated in an oil slick. I normally avoid any bread placed unsolicitedly in front of me, but yum. Hubby had what he described as the best meat lasagna he's had not home made. It was a straightforward meat-ricotta-cheese dish, no surprises like zucchini or carrots in the sauce. I had the lobster ravioli which ended up in a marinara like sauce. There was fresh shredded basil on top. I was expecting a pink vodka sauce, but it was tasty nonetheless. Minus half a star, maybe I misread the menu. The portion sizes were not huge, but we still took food home. Another waiter lady very sweetly added a few heat and go version of the garlic rolls into our Togo bag. Lunch tomorrow will be epic! We will be back!

Food is ok but waitress is kind of pushy. They overcharged us for each item and we caught it by doing math. My husband ordered a cannoli but waitress gave us 2 cannolis and charged 2. But cannoli tastes ok.

Visiting town found this great place on Yelp. 96% approval on Urbanapoon made us want to check it out. Sunday evening in late August the place was dead. We were the only table in this small place in strip shopping center. Service was good. Food was Yummy!! generous servings. Wished we had a place like this back home. tried the Lasagna. pasta fagule soup, balsamic chicken. All great!! no room for dessert.

Dear Guiliano's, I never post negative comments on anyone's page but after 4 years of ordering from you nearly once a week, you have now lost my business and I feel you should know why. In the past 3 months it has been nothing but problems. After 4 years all of sudden no one could figure out that I was in your service area and that you had been successfully delivering to my home all this time. But now, your rude staff would not or could not understand my address and enter it in the system correctly. I repeated asked if the menu had changed and was told it hadn't. I asked if I was calling the same place I had been for years and was told yes. I asked if something was different and was told no. It was not until one day I really craved your food (spending nearly $70 at one time) and went in person. The first nice person, Rod, explained you had changed ownership, menu, and re-entered me in the system to ensure next time I called (after spending $100 this past time) I would not be told no again. Tonight I called for delivery. A rainy night and I was thinking about ordering you food all afternoon. And what happens? The very rude girl on the phone can't correctly put in the address, she can't find me in the system, she argues with me at an antipasto salad is the same thing as a regular salad, she made it clear that you didn't want my business. When I asked to speak to Rod (again, the only nice person I encountered there in the past 3 months), her tone changed and she didn't want to deal with me anymore. So, Guiliano's, you lost my business. I was a regular. I was a loyal customer. Ask your delivery guy. He knows us. He knows the cats. He would laugh when we would order a weekend's worth of food on a Friday night so we can stay in and watch movies and eat your food. I told many friends and tourists to go enjoy your great food. But never again. I was loyal to you and you treated me like you didn't need my business so now you will never have it again.

They are under new management. Here is my review from TripAdvisor: Also, please note that after I wrote this review on TripAdvisor, Giuliano's all of the sudden got tons of 5-star reviews from "new profiles" with only 1 review. I believe it is the new owners of Giulianos attempting to bury my review. I will visit this place every month and order food so that I can update my reviews, and show customers what they are truly in for - you need to honor the gift certificates. ***Edit: Also looking at recent reviews here, there are quite a few 5-star reviews from new Yelp profiles that only started Yelping in June 2015*** First off, had a gift certificate for Giuliano's and they refused to accept the gift certificate because it was under "new management." However, the new management decides that it will continue with Giuliano's Facebook page, Yelp reviews, and TripAdvisor reviews. So in other words, it will assume all assets but not honor liabilities. I believe that if you are operating as the same company you should honor the gift certificate. Just a heads up on how they operate the business. Second, the food is way overpriced and mediocre at best. I tried the chicken parm (over $17 mind you) and it was just ok. Nothing special that would distinguish the restaurant from a run of the mill Italian joint. It came with overly cooked spaghetti noodles and substandard bread rolls (too dry). Also got the chicken wings. Do yourself a favor and pass on the wings. Standard frozen wings that are deep fried/baked, tossed in a Costco type buffalo sauce, and served up with blue cheese dressing. Nothing original about the wings and are completely unjustified at $1 a wing. We also got the baked ziti which consisted of mostly cheese with no sauce to balance out the acidity. You are essentially eating a block of overly el dente pasta with melted processed mozzarella. Finally, we got the chicken cacciatore which was the better meal out of the bunch. But, in the end it was too spicy and the sauce was overly salty. At the end of the day, the meal was certainly not worth the cost. I would recommend taking your $17 for a chicken parm, walking about 200 feet to the publix and getting a microwave meal. You'll save about 80% and have the same experience...except with money in your pocket.

Wow come here just for the garlic bread. My Caesar salad was delish. You can't beat the service, fast , friendless and efficient comes to mind. We ordered the balsamic chicken and eggplant rotini. Both were very good. You'll have enough for lunch the next day. The wine choice was good too. We had a nice bottle of Wild Horse Chardonnay for $28, so reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Read mixed reviews but decided to try it out.We used to go to the Italian place that was here before-Angelos,I think. Now that was a great place. This, not so much! One waiter working the 6 tables of diners. It seemed like there was no organization, and everyone had a problem. Not a good thing. I tried the Snapper-it was ok,but the side of pasta sucked.Sauce makes canned sauces look gourmet. Partner did the Veal parm-tough,dry and flavorless. He didn't finish it.Same thing with the pasta and sauce. Very disappointing. This place won't make it unless they get their act together fast. Go to Il Mulinos-better food and service for not much more money!

A little treasure tucked away in the shops just east of Publix. Choose from several tables nestled inside or enjoy a refreshing breeze on the outside in the sidewalk seating. The giant, fresh baked garlic rolls are the best. The thinly sliced eggplant was a different taste from what I'm used to--it wasn't the thick heavily breaded, oil-soaked version often served in many restaurants--could taste more of the actual flavor of the eggplant. Loads of cheese-YES! Had half the huge portion boxed up to enjoy later, which I did because that allowed the flavors an opportunity develop more so the leftovers were very tasty. Greeted promptly, very professional, attentive server.

The pizza is very good. This place had a special a large cheese pie for 7.95... Great! I love deals!!! The waitress as well as the other staff was very friendly and considerate. When we sat down, the waitress promptly took our drink order. Minutes later she returned with our drinks a complimentary garlic knots. My hubby doesn't like garlic knots due to their heaviness and "kill the vampire a 100 feet away from you" usual consistency. But these garlic knots were not the case! They were light fluffy with just the correct amount of garlic. Bravo! Our large pie arrived. The crust was crispy. The cheese bubbly. The sauce well balanced. We also enjoyed the cozy friendly atmosphere. This will not be the last time we visit. Price is right for pizza. As for the rest of the menu....a bit pricey for us. A kids meal started at 6.95... And went up to 8.95... For a small pizzeria thats expensive. So we will stick to feeding our family with $10.00 and only order the large cheese pizza special. Hey we r on a budget...

This is a good go-to Italian restaurant. Reasonable portions, at respectable prices. It's not like the north east, but we are in Florida. Not the best in Florida but good enough for a quick lunch/snack/dinner. I'm an above avg eater (by quantity), and this place keeps up. 2 slices of pizza for $5 isn't too bad, and their slices are large too. Good pick!

Who doesn't love a chef who will happily make a custom dish? Veal and chicken piccata are on the regular fabulous menu, but I was in the mood for shrimp. Et voila, Shrimp Piccata with Angel Hair! Crisp salad, scrumptious garlic rolls and a nice chianti - who could want more?

Delicious food! Had it delivered to our hotel room and it arrived steaming hot with lots of extras I didn't realize we were getting (garlic rolls, salad, etc just as if we were eating there). I highly recommend the breaded chicken in lemon sauce with artichokes. Hubby said the meatball sub was much better than he expected. My picky kids really loved the pizza as it wasn't overloaded with sauce. Giving it 4 instead of 5 stars only because I'm not sure what the dine-in experience is like.

I love when I randomly come across great restaurants which seem so unassuming. I literally went for a walk to the nearest Publix to get some items for my Dad when I noticed this italian restaurant. I had a hunch and googled it, reviews were extremely strong so I said what the heck. Ordered angel hair with meat sauce and meatballs, it came with garlic bread and salad. Pasta cooked properly, meat sauce well seasoned with good chunks of meat (reminiscent of a certainly scratch made, in house sauce) and meatballs were huge and tender. I've had better meatballs but overall Great meal. Garlic bread was similar to a Jack Astor's pan bread, and salad was what you would expect. I got chili flakes and parm to go so I was a happy camper :) Service was great, and wi-fi was blazing :D Great spot for some comfort food. My only regret was that I ate alone, I would have loved to try some other pastas, a calzone, a stromboli, a soup, a hot or cold sandwich and the incredibly thin delicious looking pizza among other things on the extensive menu. Hopefully I'll be back to Fort Lauderdale!

Amazingly delicious! The pasta was incredibly fresh, and the Alfredo sauce was clearly made fresh. If I could, I would give them 4 1/2 stars... the only problem was that it was very hot in the restaurant and the service was just good, but not great. Bottom line - I would def come back!

Ordered a couple of chicken dishes for this evening and a two sandwiches for an early start fishing tomorrow. Chicken Parm was good but the Marsala was great, fresh mushrooms, presented well. Even the salad was super fresh. Had it delivered to our boat and wow was it good. Great food fast delivery, very pleased.

Would have received 5 except for the loud guy in the kitchen who provided loud commentary that made me feel like he would be mad at what I ordered AND hear all about it. Plus, I could hear him sitting at the front door which was at the opposite of the room.

I think I will write this review as I eat. 1) the garlic rolls. There are a lot of good reviews on this site about how great they are. I think they are greasy. 2) soup pasta fagiolo was very good. Tastes healthy unlike the bread. Although this soup is not made with tradition in mind (they use tomato soup for base) it is tasty. 3) chicken Ascoliama- spinach covered with marinara with penne- a little bland because of marinara but that's the way it should taste. My wife got something that tasted like lemon chicken. That was very good. I think I might be too tough on this place. I come from an Italian household and I prefer traditional Italian food. Some corners were cut in the perpetration. Tomato soup is not tomato sauce. overall, my wifeS dish saved the day. My dish was slightly better than what you can get at most Italian restaurants. You will do better here than most Italian restaurAnts. One more thing, had a cappuccino. Exactly what I expected. Not watery. Good end to the meal.

Usually with Italian restaurants I'm am extremely critical and for two reasons. 1.) I am Italian and come from a very traditional Italian family & 2.) because everyone in Florida who opens up an Italian restaurant thinks theirs is the best which is usually far from the case. When I finally ate at Giulianos I was impressed, the veal was delicious, garlic rolls warm and soft with just the right amount seasoning and the angel hair pasta was cooked just right, with the vodka sauce topping it off. Lucky for me I'm close to this new little gem off 17th and for now I can say this is by far one of the better Italian sports I've visited in recent memory.

  • Darryn T.

Full disclosure, I walked in, took a look and walked out. Perhaps their food would have been good. I'll never know, because pizza slices warming in a glass case and the ambiance of a football stadium pizza stop pretty much ended it for me. If you're into experimenting with strip mall semi-fast food, have at it. You may indeed find a "gem" if you keep your eyes closed.

This is our go to for Italian take out! The chicken broccoli ziti is my usual. I love the food! We usually order entrees, and the few times I've gotten pizza I haven't been nearly as happy as when I get pasta dishes. Overall amazing!

  • Alison T.

I ordered delivery and got the penne with broccoli rabe and sausage. It came with 3 garlic rolls and a small salad. Value is pretty decent for $13.95. The pasta and rolls were on the greasy side but it is a garlic oil, so what can I expect? Flavor was good, not amazing but a solid good. My only issue was when my food arrived my credit card statement said $17.85. I couldn't remember the exact price of the meal and figured there was a delivery fee so I let it slide and tipped the guy in cash. In hindsight I'm thinking they either have a higher delivery fee or someone helped themselves to a tip. Not a huge deal if I would have been notified but I feel weird about someone helping themselves to my money if that was the case. I'd probably order from them again because the food seems pretty solid, but I'd pay cash next time so I don't have to wonder.

Really 3 1/2 stars. Giuliano's is my go to quick Italian dinner and pizza place in Fort Lauderdale. The pizza is NY Style and is some of the best in Fort Lauderdale in my opinion, and the dinners are always well portioned and delicious. The restaurant is clean and modern having been recently redone. The chicken parm dinner is a great value and is quite tasty. As are other dinners I have tried such as the veal parm, chicken caprese and lasagna. Each dinner is served with hot and buttery garlic rolls and a side salad or soup. The salad is nothing special, and I have yet to try the soup. Food here is an easy 4 star affair. Where Giuliano's sometimes falls short is service and seating. Mind you the seating issue is tough to blame them for but cannot be ignored. As the restaurant is very small, during the season it can get quite packed and there is really no room to wait for a table. Therefore, it can sometimes be a gamble to eat there, as you don't know if you can get a seat. Also, delivery in the past has been rather slow. Lastly, service is hit or miss as I have experienced times when they are shorthanded and other times when service has been spot on. It is probably a handful logistically when they are very busy in the restaurant and handling numerous deliveries, but it must be noted. Overall I will continue to eat at Giuliano's because the food is great for a red sauce joint, but hope they can clear up some of the smaller service/delivery issues.

First time coming here. Was surprised at the small front just because of all the good reviews. Some people were eating outside. I kind of wish we would have chose to eat outside because of the atmosphere on the inside, it seemed like the main man in charge was having a stressful night and you could hear he was a bit unhappy with the waitress.. but I guess it was kind of entertaining too :) Got a ton of food for the money. Big salad (recommend the house vinaigrette- very good) , lots of delicious rolls. We both got a huge serving and took home leftovers. I asked the waiter to throw in a few extra rolls and he said he would - but didn't. Not a big deal, I don't need them anyways - HA! All in all we were pleased, it was worth trying something new!! The pizza looked very good and could see ourselves ordering one sometime. I recommend trying it out if you want authentic Italian. Everyone working seemed very proud of their product.

This was a disappointment! I'll start by saying my husband had the Clam sauce and enjoyed that a lot . I on the other hand ordered the mussels for an app and that was just yuck ! I ordered white wine sauce and it came out with reddish white with peppers and onions in it ....we weren't sure about the mussels either . It's usually one of my favs at most Italian restaurants and I make it at home as well . My entree was Veal Milanese , I 'm pretty sure it was pre-made or frozen breaded veal . Yuck ! And it supposed to be topped with fresh arugala. It came out with meely tomatoes and soggy field greens . The sauce was red and oily . Not a fan . I only gave it a 3stars because my husband did enjoy his. So have the Clam sauce (white) if you go . I can't speak to how the pizzas are but ,looked good.

Small business making big flavor. Picked up a chkn parm meal tonight . Was very good and the garlic rolls were delicious . The chicken parm was very tasty, it was done just right . Definitely a mom pop feel when you walk in , I love that !

Very mediocre. I got a really good pizza here when they first opened, but everything has been pretty average since. You can tell by the pictures that the food isn't made with love. While you can eat in, it's a small space. Ok for eating slices or a hero, but not really suitable for dinner.

I believe they changed owners because it's all new staff and the menu is different. I was craving a caprese panini with there awesome homemade bread so decided to go in for lunch. Well I got my panini and it's not there homemade bread I was wanting. It was just plain white bread. The bread was soft I give them that but the overall panini didn't taste the same. So this will probably be my last time getting a panini. I wonder if they changed the pizza as well, I guess I'll have to see since my husband really likes the meat lovers pizza.

We came here after Total Wine shopping on early Saturday afternoon. This place was pretty empty I've been making my own pizza since I've got bread machine last Christmas.... We haven't eat out for pizza for while . I order Chicken Parmigiana and my husband Howard H. had Veal Parmigiana, it both came with Garlic Breads , soup or salad your choice . Garlic bread : not that much flavor, I can't hardly taste any garlic... 2 1/2 starts. House salad : Watery Italian Dressing ...2 starts. My Chicken Parmigiana was delicious, chicken was tender and juicy, spot on Marinara sauce... 4 starts. But my husband's Veal was a bit dry. Great service 4 starts. They charge Chicken Parmigiana for $16.95, Veal Parmigiana for $17.95 ! It is overpriced, I think I will go back for $12.95 Chicken Parmigiana... Overall: 3 and half starts .

It doesn't look like much from the exterior, but inside is a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The service was really good, better than any I've experienced in my home city (Pittsburgh). As for the food, it is traditional and very good. They provide you with a lot, so there may be some left over. Their pasta is quite good and their bread. They also have a nice seafood selection. If looking for Italian, or simply a pleasant dinner that isn't too casual or formal, I would certainly recommend it.

Small place next to Publix supermarket. The waitress was very nice and attentive, the pizza was so good! The crust was perfect! Just like we used to get in NY! If you live in the area it's a just! If you are visiting the area visit Giuliano's!

Tonight I stop at what was my favorite local pizza place. It is now under new owners. New staff not friendly. Had to ask for clean plates, were not given napkins. New menu over priced. I ordered a soda that came flat. When we told the waitress she looked at us questionable. We ordered pizza the cheese was awful no sauce. My 11 year old would not even eat it. We also ordered soup that had no flavor and portion size cut down. When the bill came we were over charged and had to have it corrected. Sad to say we will have to find another pizza place.

Good pick!

Amazingly delicious! The pasta was incredibly fresh, and the Alfredo sauce was clearly made fresh. If I could, I would give them 4 1/2 stars... the only problem was that it was very hot in the restaurant and the service was just good, but not great. Bottom line - I would def come back!

Giuliano's is your standard, unassuming red sauce joint. The restaurant has maybe 12 tables in it. I have dined in the restaurant, as well as ordered for take out and delivery. Good pizza is hard to come by. Especially in South Florida. As of late, Giuliano's is my go-to pizza place. There pizza tastes delicious fresh out of the oven, luke warm from slow delivery (see service issues below), and even when re-heated as leftovers. Every entree is served with a salad and side of pasta. Portions are a good size and there is almost always leftovers to take home. All diners are also treated to delicious garlic rolls that are always fresh. I enjoy dining in the restaurant; however, due its small size, the restaurant often gets packed quickly. (Thank goodness Joe's is right next door.) Sometimes service is spotty if the restaurant is packed, or if there is a large party. This staffing issue also affects delivery. Despite the service flaws on crowded nights, Guiliano's Italian Restaurant serves quality Italian food that always tastes delicious.

Was there for vacation, turned out this little place was the best meal we ever got in Ft. Lauderdale ;) love their Pepper and sausage dish, so yummy.

I was on overnight in Fort Lauderdale and decided to go for lunch in this very small Italian restaurant in a strip center behind the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale. I had the chicken Napoli which was surprisingly very good with a very light and robust marinara sauce with chunks of chicken and fresh mozzarella. It came with a salad and 3 toasty garlic rolls which were very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or a casual dinner. There are only 10 tables in the restaurant no atmosphere but very good food.

Excellent spot for Italian fare in Ft. Lauderdale. The food was great and the service was spot on. Had the ziti chicken brocolli and it was delicious! Worth a try!

Best meal on our vacation! Garlic rolls and mushroom caps appetizer are amazing! Everything is made fresh. The chef is also the owner and clearly takes tremendous pride in what he is serving his guests. This is a must-visit restaurant AND an amazing value.

I gone there couple weeks ago when I was on Vacation there. Gotta say this is probably the best italian food I had. I still remember their delicious food. I wish we had such a great restaurant.

We recently moved to the area from a VERY Italian area in PA. This is our go to little Italian restaurant. The staff always makes you feel welcome and valued. For such a touristy area, it is refreshing to find a mom and pop type restaurant that has incredible food at reasonable prices. Their red pizzas are an Italian acquired sweet taste which I don't have, but my Italian boyfriend from Scranton LOVES. Other specialty pizzas are great, and the chicken piccata is to die for. I wouldn't waste my time with pizza here, the dinners are incredible and the garlic rolls are warm and slightly crisp. Yum. A tip, it is hard to find, to the right of Publix. Don't give up, its worth the hunt.

The food was great. We were in Ft Lauderdale to catch a cruise and Giuliano's was close to our hotel. We had dinner there our second night and it was outstanding. We were sorry we couldn't eat there again, but our ship left the next day. Its a small restaurant in a strip mall with not too much ambiance, but if you want good Italian food, it can't be beat. Prices are good too.My wife and I loved it!

I live in NYC and next to a lot of great italian food, but this place makes me want to hop on a plane to Ft. Lauderdale again! The penne a la Vodka is amazing! And the garlic rolls are to die for! I was in Ft. Lauderdale for 3 nights, and 2 of those nights I ordered Giuliano's because it was so good! I only ordered delivery, so I have no idea what the restaurant looks like, but I wish they had this place in NYC! So good!

This is a small place that's informal inside but the menu variety is huge! The food was excellent like broccoli rabe and sausage appetizer- (you don't see that on menus often). The food was very authentic italian. Service was friendly and very efficient. For a less formal Italian meal at a great price, this is the place.

This was the first place we visited on our trip and before we left back for home we visited again. The garlic bread is superb, the entrees make you feel like I am having a home cooked meal and the service is great. Food is done quickly and fills you up real good! We are so sad to be 2,730 miles away from this restaurant.

Ordered the Stromboli and got more food than I could possibly eat. The staff was very hospitable and welcoming to our group. Would most certainly recommend the restaurant to anyone!

Excellent food!! We were extremely pleased with the meal we had tonight. The staff were very friendly and the food was outstanding. Hard working family owned restaurant worth the visit. If we lived here, this would a regular hangout for us.

Good pick!

Small place with fabulous food. I haven't ordered anything that wasn't great. Capri pizza is my favorite, the Panini's are awesome, and everything is fresh.

This is our go to for Italian take out! The chicken broccoli ziti is my usual. I love the food! We usually order entrees, and the few times I've gotten pizza I haven't been nearly as happy as when I get pasta dishes. Overall amazing!

1st... the guy who answered the phone seemed annoying with me calling for delivery & 2nd... i call & order a steak sandwich & fries & instead of telling me the sandwich comes with fries they charged me for a whole other order of fries on top of the fries the that came with the sandwich... scumbag move thats all im saying

A hidden gem!!! Delicious food. Great price. Big portions. Super fast delivery! I have tried their pastas and the calzones and they are delicious. I love their lunch specials. huge portions at a great price. My restaurant of choice when I am in the mood of Italian food. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Best meal on our vacation! Garlic rolls and mushroom caps appetizer are amazing! Everything is made fresh. The chef is also the owner and clearly takes tremendous pride in what he is serving his guests. This is a must-visit restaurant AND an amazing value.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
